You Say They Play 2012
You Say They Play returns for it's fourth successive year to Lounge On The Farm.
This has got to be one of the hottest competitions around, not only celebrating the talented unsigned musicians of local, it also opens up the opportunity to play at 'Kent's Bestest Music Festival'
This year we're changing it up a little. The top 3 acts based on public votes alone will play the main stage at Merton Farm. With Emile Sande, The Wombats, The Charlatans and Chic all confirmed for this very stage you can bet your pennies on the competition being extremely high again this year!
And if that wasn't enough, oh do we have a treat in store for you! This year there's a new way to play. We've got one slot up for grabs on each of the stages across the festival site. Each will be judged by music industry greats and legends alike. Fancy warming the decks of Sir David Rodigan in the Hoedown? Or pump the beats through the heart of Lounge with the legends that are Dexys on The Meadows Stage? Think you're the one to sow the seeds in our Farm Folk with Lounge favourites Kitty, Daisy and Lewis?
We are excited to announce that we have 6 slots up for grabs at this years festival. All we ask is that you are local and willing to play in front of 10 000 people! The top 20 acts will receive free tickets to this years festival. Keep your eyes peeled in the news section for more exciting prizes!
