Ranked #24

The Mannie Roobs are an acoustic songwriting duo based locally, influenced by the likes of Angus and Julia Stone, Daughter, Bon Iver, Marcus Foster, Lisa Mitchell and Damien Rice.

Envisaging a fresh warm sound, they have been reviewed as creating music that is 'truly something different where you truly believe in youthfulness','driven by beautifully soft and delicate floral vocals' from individuals who together are 'passionate about their craft and let their love show on stage'. This review was published online after the pair performed at The Farmhouse last year.

But pushing forward, The Mannie Roobs have now written over an album's worth of original material waiting to be recorded, with the use of piano, guitar and harmonized vocals and hoping to develop their sound further, the amazing opportunity to perform at this year's Lounge on the Farm would be the perfect building block to further develop and share their music on a wider scale.

Our new material is due to be uploaded to Youtube shortly. Our channel is currently quite out of date but watch this space!
