The vivacious band, Standing on Giants first leapt onto the stage back in February '09. The four members of the rock/funk/indie band from the South East of England are currently climbing the roots of the music scene which has seen them perform alongside acts such as Bloc Party, The Holloways, Kid Harpoon, Kid British, Underground Heroes and The Crookes.
In the summer of 2010, Standing On Giants released their debut EP ‘No A Medias’, which continues to sell well, both in physical and online sales.
2011 signalled an explosive start to the year with headline shows at Canterbury University, Tunbridge Wells Forum, Islington O2 Academy2, as well as supporting Chapel Club at their album launch party in Hoxton, London.
The band is enjoying radio airplay on several stations including: BBC6, BBC Kent, BBC Lincs, KMFM and CSR amongst many others.
They released their debut single "The Signs" last August, with follow 4 track EP of the same name on iTunes, Amazon, etc.
They're to be featured in a pilot for a new music TV show in May, and will be performing an outdoor show on Maplethorpe beach, Lincolnshire, as part of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebrations.
