Starting out in 2009, The New Inventions have performed all over the UK at gigs and festivals. Their music, written by front-man Chris Kennedy, combines influences from indie bands such as The Cure, Vampire Weekend, Wilco, and Elvis Costello, with subtle tinges of americana and folk music. They are currently promoting their self-released debut album Bohemian Kicks, which was recorded in 24-hours at a local studio - capturing the essence of their live act. With a great set of skilfully crafted songs, The New Inventions put on a show that's not to be missed.
